Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

Plan To Pitch operates the Plan to Pitch session planning platform for grassroots football coaches. For the personal data described in this notice, Plan To Pitch is the data controller — we decide how and why your data is processed.

2. What we collect and why

  • Account data — your name, email address and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
  • Profile and branding data — coaching name, club, brand colours and logos you add, used to personalise your session plans and PDFs (contract).
  • Content you create — sessions, drills, notes and files you upload, stored so we can provide the service and, if you choose, publish to the community library (contract).
  • Support messages — anything you send us when asking for help, used to respond and resolve issues (legitimate interests).
  • Usage and device data — IP address, device identifiers and telemetry about how the service is used, used for security, fraud prevention and product improvement (legitimate interests; consent where required for non-essential cookies).

Payment card and billing details are collected directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, when you subscribe — we never see or store your full card details.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers — hosting, database and analytics providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
  • Authorities — where we are required to by law.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where they do, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.

5. Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically for the life of your account plus any period required by law (for example tax records). When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level data isolation, to keep your data safe.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, including the rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We respond to requests within one month. To exercise any right, contact us via the support options in the app.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and make the service work, and limited analytics storage to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.
